stranger in the night (my bubbly stranger)

It was late in the evening,11 pm Friday April 17, 2009 to be exact when i received a call from a friend. I felt nervous and excited when i answered it. When a different person speaking to me saying “hello” repeatedly on the other line, when i did not answer him. I was occupied thinking who is this guy?

I managed to composed myself and said “hello” back. Then he introduced himself. From the tone of his voice, I can say he is a lighthearted friendly humane. Yes i know this guy but never met him in person or talked to him before. I only knew that he exist. A couple of pictures as an evidence. Hahah i never felt interested talking to a total stranger.

A dear friend of mine, then, had the phone informing to visit me tonight for a small get together and wants to introduce me this friend. I refused at first..freaking out for it’s already midnight and was so tired to entertain guests in the house. I need rest but convinced after several minutes of bolahan !

Arriving in 30 minutes! Thirty minutes to get all done. I was literally in a hurry trying to clean my room with all my kalat! I took bath and dress appropriately. Black blouse and white decent shorts. And yes i did use my favorite perfume to smell nice..hahaha

When they arrived I was prepared. My friend and the stranger. His name was taken from the famous painter the rival of Italian painter who paint Mona Lisa. (hmm..myserious hihihi)

I offered them juices and my favorite Royal Dansk cookies!

My first impression to him was right. He is a friendly lighthearted person. Likes to laugh. With sense of humor, intelligent and unbelievably handsome like my friend. Bubbly. Here’s the catch…he is ‘9 years old and taken wahahaha. He is now my friend and glad to know him.

The 5 Finger Prayer‏

The Will of GOD will never take you where The Grace of GOD will not protect.

This is so neat. I have never heard this before. This is beautiful - and it is surely worth making the 5 finger prayer a part of our lives.

1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a ’sweet duty.’

2. The next finger is the pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God’s guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger - the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, ‘The least shall be the greatest among you.’ Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

If you decide to send this to a friend, you might brighten someone’s day! Pass this on to someone special. I did..

Don’t tell God how big your storm is, Tell the storm how big your God is!!!!!
