5 Ways To Stay Focused On Your Goals

5 Ways To Stay Focused On Your Goals

No matter how excited you are about your business, with so many distractions and things that may be going on in your life, you can easily find yourself losing focus on your goals and what you want to accomplish. Below you will find 5 things that will help you stay focused on your goals.

FINISH WHAT YOU STARTED

You probably have heard the saying, "So many things to do and not enough time to do them." Even though that may be true, you still have to complete them all, especially if these things help you to reach your goals. To make it easier for you, just take 1 thing you have to do and complete that task until it is done. When it is done, you will feel a sense of accomplishment and it will motivate you to move on to your next task.

ORGANIZE TO MAKE THINGS EASY AND SIMPLE

Take a moment to put things in order. If people write to you or send you orders in the mail, make 3 piles. Put the letters that need to be answered right away in the 1st pile. Letters that can be answered at a later date you can put in the 2nd pile and letters that have orders in them, you can put in the 3rd pile. Doing things like this in other areas of your life will help you keep things in priority and keep you focused on your goals.

CHANGE THE WAY YOU LOOK AT THINGS

If you find yourself at times having a negative attitude, you must realize that the way you look at things can make all the difference when it comes to reaching your goals. Even when obstacles stand in your way, maintaining a positive attitude, not a negative one and knowing that things can and will get better, will help you stay on track in reaching your goals.

UNDERSTAND GOALS WILL TAKE TIME TO REACH

Everything in life, if it is worth it, will take time. This goes for the goals you set for yourself. When you set goals, you should set 2 types of goals. A short term goal such as 6 months and also a long range goal, such as 3 years. You must realize that you are not going to reach your long term goals in 2 weeks. Whatever your goals may be, only through hard work, determination and keeping yourself focused, this is the way you will eventually reach your goals.

STUDY AND READ ARTICLES ON MOTIVATION

Reading articles, books or even listening to cassette tapes on motivation is a must if you want to keep yourself focused on your goals. Many successful people will tell you that even when they wanted to give up and throw in the towel, a paragraph in a book or something a motivational speaker said put them back on the right track and helped them reach their goals. So if you want to stay focused on your goals, take these 5 points and put them into action today.

Duck Philosophy

Three  women die together in an accident and go to heaven.
>
>When they get there, St. Peter says, "We only have one rule here in heaven.
>  Don’t step on the ducks."
>
>So they enter heaven, and sure enough, there are ducks all over the place.
>
>It is almost impossible not to step on a duck, and although they try their
>best to avoid them, the first woman accidentally steps on one.
>Along comes St. Peter with the ugliest man she ever saw. St. Peter chains
>them together and says,
>
>"Your punishment for stepping on a duck is to spend eternity with this ugly
>man!"
>
>The next day, the second woman accidentally steps on a duck, and along
>comes
>
>St. Peter, who doesn’t miss a thing, and with him is another extremely ugly
>man.
>
>He chains them together with the same punishment as the first woman.
>
>The third woman has observed all this and, not wanting to be chained for
>all eternity to an ugly man, is very, VERY careful where she steps.
>
>She manages to go months without stepping on any ducks, but one day St.
>Peter comes up to her with the most handsome man she has ever laid eyes
>on… very tall, tan, muscular, and with good hair.
>
>St. Peter chains them together without saying a word.
>The woman remarks, "I wonder what I did to deserve being with you for all
>of eternity?"
>
>And the guy says, "Well, I don’t know what you did, but I stepped on a
>duck."
>
>SEND THIS TO EVERYBODY  THAT NEEDS A LAUGH…..IT’LL CHEER THEM UP!!!!!!!
>
>Moral of the story:
>
>Before you comment on others,  please take a good look at yourself first!!!

Rape Drug

Please Inform all your Female Friends !!!!!

A woman at a bar on a Saturday night was taken by 5 men, who, according to hospital and police reports, gang raped her before dumping her. Unable to remember the events of the evening, tests later confirmed the repeat rapes, along with traces of Rohypnol in her blood and Progesterex, essentially a small sterilization pill.

The drug is now being used by rapists at parties to rape AND sterilize their victims. Progesterex is available to vets to sterilize large animals. Progesterex is being used together with Rohypnol, the date rape drug.

As with Rohypnol, all they have to do is drop it into the girl’s drink. The girl can’t remember a thing the next morning, of all that had taken place the night before. Progesterex, which dissolves in drinks just as easily, is such that the victim doesn’t get pregnant; she won’t conceive from the rape and the rapist needn’t worry about having a paternity test identifying him months later.

The drug’s effects ARE NOT TEMPORARY - They are P*E*R*M*A*N*E*N*T!!! Progesterex was designed to sterilize horses.. Any female who takes it will NEVER BE ABLE TO CONCEIVE… The weasels can get this drug from anyone who is in the vet school or any universit! y.

It’s that easy, and Progesterex is about to break out big on campuses everywhere. Believe it or not, there are even sites on the Internet telling people how to use it.
Please forward this to everyone you know, especially girls.. Be careful when you’re out and don’t leave your drink unattended.

Please make the effort to forward this on to all you know… Guys, please inform all your female friends and relatives!

REPOST THIS MSG AS MANY TIMES AS YOU CAN to HELP SAVE THE NEXT VICTIM…..

“happy tears” and the sad tears”

"There was a study done where a control group of 100 people were divided into two."

50 people watched very funny, tears-of laughter type movie.

50 watched a very sad and tears of compassion type movie.

At the end of the sessions researchers collected the "happy tears" and the sad tears" with eye droppers.

They found that "happy tears" are made up of brine… salt water and not a great deal else

However the "sad tears" were found to contain the very same chemicals and enzymes that are found in tumors, ulcers and other such lumps and bumps and sicknesses through out the body.

This test concluded that the body, when crying in sadness etc is literally flushing out all of the toxic-chemicals that accumulate and are a part of the sadness /heartache experience.

Therefore if one holds back those tears, those toxic-waters will find somewhere else to deposit themselves.. . and prolonged lack-of-crying- release will guarantee that the body will accumulate a huge amount of internal pollution and toxicity that should have been released through the tears……. is it any wonder that the eyes sting so much when we hold back our tears?

NO WONDER MEN DIE EARLIER THAN WOMAN. MEN HOLD ON TO THEIR PRIDE WHICH LEAD THEM TO EARLY DEATH!!!!

LESSON FROM THE STUDY: CRY YOUR HEART OUT WHEN YOU ARE SAD, LONELY, ALONE, DEPRESSED, ETC….. IT IS GOOD FOR YOUR HEALTH!

What Does LOve Mean?

Dear Friends,

In this life that we are living, it is important that we invest our love in
others. It is easy for us to be lazy and not let those around us know how
we truly feel about them, but in this day of unpredictability, we might
never know when our last chance of telling our loved ones that we love them
will be. It’s important that we love people because God commands it and I
agree, but I believe that we are to tell our friends and family that we
love them because they might not know or feel that we truly do. (James
4:13-15) (Galatians 6:1-4) (John 15:16-17) (Hebrews 13:1)

We are to have perfect love towards one another just as God has towards us.
Perfect love is not associated with being good or deserving to be loved,
but rather perfect love is defined as such because it does not depend on
any of those things. Be encouraged to share the love that you have with
others so that they may know how you truly feel about them. (1 John
4:18-21)

I hope today’s simple message on Love ministers to your spirit to be open
in sharing the love that is in your heart with those around you.

WHAT DOES LOVE MEAN?

A group of professionals posed the question "What does love mean?" to a
group of 4 - 8 year-olds and the answers they got were broader and deeper
than anyone could have imagined. See what you think:

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn’t bend over and paint her
toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even
when his hands got arthritis too. That’s love."

"Love is when someone hurts you and you get so mad, but you don’t yell at
them because you know it would hurt their feelings."

"Love is what makes you smile when you’re tired."

"Love is when you kiss all the time. Then when you get tired of kissing,
you still want to be together and you talk more. My Mommy and daddy are
like that. They look gross when they kiss."

"When you tell someone something bad about yourself and you’re scared they
won’t love you anymore. But then you get surprised because not only do
they still love you, they love you even more."

"Love is when you tell a guy you like his shirt, then he wears it
everyday."

"My Mommy loves me more than anybody. You don’t see anyone else kissing
me to sleep at night."

"Love is when Mommy gives daddy the best piece of chicken."

"Love is when your puppy licks your face even after you left him alone all
day."

"I know my older sister loves me because she gives me all her old clothes
and has to go out and buy new ones."

"I let my big sister pick on me because my Mom says she only picks on me
because she loves me. So I pick on my baby sister because I love her."

"Love cards like Valentine’s cards say stuff on them that we’d like to say
ourselves, but we wouldn’t be caught dead saying."

"You really shouldn’t say ‘I love you’ unless you mean it. But if you
mean it, you should say it alot. People forget."

Read and meditate on these scriptures:

1 John 4:18-21 "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out
fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in
love. We love Him, because He first loved us. If a man say, I love God,
and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother
whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this
commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth God love his brother
also."

Romans 12:9-10 "Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is
evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another
with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another."

Hebrews 13:1-3 "Let brotherly love continue. Be not forgetful to entertain
strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember
them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity
as being yourselves also in the body."

1 John 4:10-12 "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved
us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God
so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at
any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and His love is
perfected in us."

All of these scriptures can be found in the King James Version Bible.
